The 10th Missile Squadron is a United States Air Force unit assigned to the 341st Operations Group, stationed at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana.
The Squadron was reactivated on 1 December 1961, as an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile squadron assigned to the 341st Missile Wing at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana. It was initially equipped with 50 LGM-30A Minuteman in early 1962, becoming SAC's first operational Minuteman squadron.
In October of 1962, President John F Kennedy stood toe-to-toe with Soviet Premier Nikita Kruschev. For 13 days, the world teetered on the edge of war, but President Kennedy had his "Ace in the Hole".
Today, the 10th Missile Squadron is equipped with the LGM-30G Minuteman III Intercontinental ballistic missile, with a mission of nuclear deterrence.
The “First Aces” Booster Club is a nonprofit organization that raises money for the 10th Missile Squadron. It exists to raise money for Squadron morale events that drive family and community engagement.
